It is used for therapeutic baths and for drinking. Silt mud is obtained from a local lake and from Lake Solenoe, which is near the Sol’vychegodsk health resort. Those with diseases of the muscu-loskeletal organs and the peripheral nervous system and gynecologic and other disorders are treated. Solonikha has a sanatorium and a water- and mud-treatment facility.
