Sotsialisticheskaia Industriia 

(Socialist Industry), a newspaper of the Central Committee of the CPSU. Founded in 1969, Sotsialisticheskaia industriia is published in Moscow six times a week; it is printed in 27 cities of the USSR. The newspaper deals with problems of the development of Soviet industry, scientific and technological progress, the improvement of industrial management, and the organization of socialist emulation in the USSR. It also deals with the experience of the economic integration of the socialist countries, the socioeconomic consequences of the scientific and technological revolution in the capitalist countries, and the economic relations of the USSR with foreign countries. Circulation, 900,000 (1975).
