(2) (Schema for Object-oriented XML) An XML schema developed by Veo Systems and Muzino Communications, which was submitted to the W3C. SOX is based on DTD, but adds data typing and reuse mechanisms. In May 2001, a standard XML schema (W3C XML Schema) was introduced by the W3C. See XML schema. See also SOCKS server.

Ed Markey (D-MA) the week of July 9th brought an agreement by Sound Exchange to delay implementing the new rates, which had been scheduled to go into effect on July 15th, while the two parties hammer out a royalty agreement that won't put internet radio off the air.
Sound Exchange, the recording industry organization that collects royalties, has agreed to keep the old royalty structure in place while negotiations continue toward a settlement that benefits both sides.
This transfer of MISMO SMART[TM] document levels 3 and 4 allows for sound exchange of data and documents.
