Special Features: This park, the nation's largest municipal park, encompasses a vast rugged mountain range. Features include petroglyphs (ancient Indian rock inscriptions), historic and archeological sites, a mining camp, and a Depression-era work camp. The park is also home to the South Mountain Environmental Education Center (602-534-6324).
