Sovetskaia Estrada I Tsirk 

(Soviet Estrada and Circus), a Soviet monthly illustrated magazine; an organ of the Ministry of Culture of the USSR. Sovetskaia estrada i tsirk has been published in Moscow since July 1963. The magazine deals with the theory, history, and practice of estrada (variety stage) and circus art. It replaced the magazine Sovetskii tsirk (Soviet Circus), which was published from October 1957 through June 1963. The earlier magazines Tsirk (Circus), published from January 1925 through April 1957, and Tsirk i estrada (Circus and Estrada), published from April 1927 through 1930, were both organs of the Central Board of State Circuses. Circulation, 90,700 (1978).
