Soviet-Central African Agreements
Diplomatic relations were established between the USSR and the Central African Republic on Dec. 7, 1960. The two countries concluded agreements on cultural and scientific cooperation (Mar. 15, 1965), air transportation (Dec. 25, 1965), and long-term trade (Dec. 19, 1969). An agreement on economic and technical cooperation, and a protocol on the training of Central African nationals in Soviet educational institutions were signed on July 6,1970. In a joint communiqué of July 7, 1970, both countries expressed their desire to develop friendly relations. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
