    0.01 sec.
Soviet-Zambian Agreements

Diplomatic relations were established between the USSR and Zambia on Oct. 30, 1964.

The two countries concluded agreements on cultural cooperation (Aug. 25, 1966), on economic and technical cooperation (May 26, 1967), and on trade (Dec. 17, 1971). On Mar. 7, 1973, a protocol was signed on the equivalence of certificates and diplomas from educational institutions, as well as the equivalence of scholarly degrees.

A joint communique of Nov. 28, 1974, expressed the countries’ mutual desire to deepen friendship and cooperation.
