Ground forage (5 g) was placed in a filter paper, saturated with ether, placed in a Soxhlet extractor and extracted with 100 mL of ether at 65 to 70°C.
The thermobitumen and the formed oil were extracted exhaustively with boiling benzene in a Soxhlet extractor.
