Speicher, Eugene (Edward) (1883–1962) painter; born in Buffalo, N.Y. He studied at the Fine Arts Academy, Buffalo (1902–06), and the Art Students League, New York (1906–08) under Robert Henri and William Merritt Chase. Based in Woodstock, N.Y., he painted landscapes and portraits, such as Consuela (1947).
