1. an implement with a rubber blade used for wiping away surplus water from a surface, such as a windowpane
2. any of various similar devices used in photography for pressing the water out of wet prints or negatives or for squeezing prints onto a glazing surface

A device consisting of a handle with a blade of rubber or leather set transversely at one end and used for spreading, pushing, or wiping liquids off or across a surface.

As part of the implementation and standardization, setup sheets permitted only the standard three levels from the DoE for squeegee speed, squeege pressure and separation speed.
A fishbone analysis of the printing process reveals many variables, most involving operators: squeege pressure, speed and wear; snap-off angle; machine wear; machine creep (this does not necessarily refer to the operator); separation speed; stencil tension, accuracy and thickness; PCBA support; wipe frequency and methodology; plus numerous paste, operator and stencil variables.
