Srednee Spetsial’noe Obrazovanie

(Specialized Secondary Education), a monthly journal published in Moscow since 1954 by the Ministry of Higher and Specialized Secondary Education of the USSR. The journal publishes articles on the educational process in specialized secondary educational institutions and on the curricula used in the training of specialists; it also publishes materials dealing with the development of specialized secondary education. The journal devotes particular attention to communist upbringing. Srednee spetsial’noe obrazovanie includes book reviews and information on methodology and legal questions. Circulation, approximately 30,000 (1975).
