St. Joseph 

a city in the USA, in the state of Missouri. Population, 76,000 (1974; 98,000 including suburbs). St. Joseph is a port on the Missouri River and the center of a major agricultural region where cattle are raised and grains are grown. It has grain elevators, meat-packing plants, flour mills, canneries, and enterprises for the manufacture of agricultural machinery.
