Standardization Institute of
(full name, All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Standardization of the State Committee on Standards of the Council of Ministers of the USSR), a major research institute founded in Moscow in 1965. The Institute of Standardization works on major problems related to standardization, improving product quality, and the examination of such scientific and technical documents as state standards, sectorial standards, and technical specifications.
