..... Click the link for more information. . Stanley Falls (Boyoma), waterfalls on the upper Congo (Zaire) River, between the cities of Ubundu and Kisangani, in the Republic of Zaire. The Stanley Falls consist of seven large cataracts, extending about 150 km and separated by relatively level stretches of water; the total drop is about 40 m. The falls were named after H. M.
