Starvation Creek State Park Location: Off I-84 (eastbound access only), 10 miles west of Hood River. Facilities: Picnic area, restrooms (é), interpretive exhibit, hiking trails. Activities: Hiking, bird watching. Special Features: The waterfall here is one of few in this area of the gorge. Trails lead to adjacent U.S. Forest Service land and connect to the Mount Defiance and Starvation Ridge trails.
