Activities: Hiking, fishing, hunting (with restrictions), biking, boating, ice fishing, snowshoeing, recreation programs.
Special Features: Park is a nearly pristine natural refuge in the midst of one of the nation's most densely populated areas. The park's deep forest provides habitat for the black bear and rare species of invertebrates and plants, as well as a variety of hawks and songbirds.
