Wrexham tenants have voted against housing stock transfer once, but Mr Isherwood hopes the proven rewards for tenants in Gwynedd will make them reconsider.
Since stock transfer in March 2003, we have invested pounds 348million in tenants' homes and installed 30,558 central heating systems, 9877 new windows, 12,855 new kitchens, 12,763 new bathrooms, 35,948 new doors and 11,882 roofs.
Many have 30-year-old kitchens and bathrooms dating back as far as 50 years, but a vote for a stock transfer would make funds available for much-needed repairs, including the installation of double glazing.
