Stonelick State Park Location: 22 miles from Cincinnati, in the southwest part of the state. Facilities: 114 campsites (108 with electricity), camper cabin, group camp, showers, flush toilets, picnic areas, picnic shelters, hiking and bike trails (7 miles), swimming beach, boat rentals, boat ramp, game courts, bike rental, playground, camp store, laundry. Activities: Camping, boating (electric motors only), fishing, swimming, hiking, hunting, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, sledding, ice skating, ice fishing, ice boating, nature programs. Special Features: Located in the rolling highlands of southwest Ohio, the park includes portions of uplifted bedrock with exposed fossils of trilobites, brachiopods, cephalopods, and other species, giving Stonelick one of the richest fossil records in the state.
