Stratton Brook State Park Location: 2 miles west of Simsbury, at 194 Stratton Brook Road, on Route 305. Facilities: Picnic shelters, picnic tables, bathhouses, bathrooms, bike trail, seasonal interpretive displays (é). Activities: Fishing, swimming, hiking, bicycling, field sports, cross-country skiing, ice skating. Special Features: Connecticut's first totally wheelchair-accessible state park is one of the better-known small parks in the state because of its proximity to the Hartford metropolitan area.
