(astronomy)
The moon at opposition, with a phase angle of 0°, when it appears as a round disk to an observer on the earth because the illuminated side is toward the observer.

Full Moon 

a phase of the moon in which the moon is near the point in the sky opposite the sun and in which its entire bright side is turned to the earth. In this phase, the moon appears as a bright disk.
