Sullivan, Mark (1874–1952) journalist; born in Avondale, Pa. A muckraking writer for McClure's and Collier's magazines (1905–14), he edited Collier's for a few years and, from 1923, wrote a syndicated column for the New York Tribune (later, Herald Tribune).
