A 19-model collection of gold and volcanic massive sulphides (VMS) within the Abitibi greenstone belt of northeastern Ontario has been completed, according to an August 22 news report.
Drilling in this new zone, subsequent to hole 522 and for which assays are pending, has also confirmed the presence of significant intersections of massive sulphides along a northeast-southwest trending target area.
The AeroTEM II consists of an advanced helicopter-borne time domain electromagnetic system which has the ability to accurately delineate and characterize weak conductors, such as those associated with disseminated sulphides in gold deposits.
