A J2EE-compliant, Web-based application server from Sun. It supports C, C++ and Java applications, Java servlets, JavaServer Pages (JSPs) and Enterprise JavaBeans. From more recent to earliest, the product was formerly Sun ONE Application Server, iPlanet Application Server and Netscape Application Server.
