Suruga

Suruga 

a bay in the Pacific Ocean, on the southern coast of the Japanese island of Honshu. Suruga Bay has a length of approximately 60 km and a width at its entrance of approximately 56 km. Depths measure 32 m inside the bay but exceed 2,000 m at the entrance. Tides are irregular and semidiurnal, with a height of approximately 2 m. Shimizu is the principal port.
