..... Click the link for more information. . Sverdrup Islands a group of islands in the northern Canadian Arctic Archipelago; part of the Queen Elizabeth Islands. The largest islands are Axel Heiberg, Amund Ringnes, and Ellef Ringnes. The islands cover an area of approximately 75,000 sq km. The Isachsen Meteorological Station is on Ellef Ringnes Island.
