Svetotekhnika 

(Illuminating Engineering), a monthly scientific and engineering journal; organ of the Ministry of the Electrical-engineering Industry of the USSR and of the Central Board of the Scientific and Technical Society of the Power-engineering and Electrical-engineering Industry. Published in Moscow since 1932, the journal contains articles on illuminating engineering in the USSR and abroad and on the standardization, design, installation, and operation of various types of lighting and irradiating installations. There are also articles on the development and manufacture of new lamps, lighting devices, starting and regulating devices, components for electrical equipment, and photometric instruments, as well as on the increase in productivity caused by improved lighting and on education in illuminating engineering. In addition, the journal publishes general information, bibliographical material, and notices of events pertaining to the field. Circulation, 10,800 (1975).
