Svetozarevo
(until 1946, Jagodina; renamed in honor of Svetozar Marković), a city in Yugoslavia, in the Socialist Republic of Serbia. Located on the Belica River, a tributary of the Morava. Population, 29,000 (1972). Svetozarevo has a food-processing industry (sugar refining, vegetable and fruit canning, meat-packing, and brewing). There are enterprises for the production of cables, instruments, electrical engineering products, furniture, ceramics, and bricks.
