The Omega Nebula, sometimes called the Swan Nebula, is a dazzling stellar nursery located about 5500 light-years away towards the constellation of Sagittarius (the Archer).
Swan Nebula, a five-year-old daughter of Seeking The Gold who won twice for Godolphin when she raced in Britain as a juvenile, proved the second most expensive lot of the session, when knocked down to John McCormack for $525,000.
She made the frame in two starts at Ascot and once qualified for nurseries, ran a cracker when fourth to Swan Nebula at Doncaster.
