Facilities: 32 picnic sites, group picnic areas, multi-use trail (1.5 miles), showers, boat ramp, restrooms, visitor/nature center (é).
Activities: Picnicking, boating, fishing (fish are not edible), swimming, water-skiing, jet skiing, hiking, sailboarding, hunting, bird watching, cross-country skiing, interpretive programs.
Special Features: Sweitzer Lake, "the oasis on the edge of the desert," was developed solely for recreation.
