switched-capacitor filter [‚swicht kə′pas·əd·ər ‚fil·tər]
(electronics)
An integrated-circuit filter in which a resistor is simulated by a combination of a capacitor and metal oxide semiconductor switches that are turned on and off periodically at a high frequency. Also known as switched-C filter.
