SyQuest disk

    0.02 sec.

SyQuest disk

A removable hard drive from SyQuest. Using the SCSI interface, SyQuest's 5.25" drives support 44, 88 and 200MB cartridges. SyQuest's 3.5" drives support 105 and 270MB cartridges. SyQuest disks became de facto standards for transportable interchange of personal computer data. In the mid-1990s, SyQuest introduced several new 3.5" drives that were not compatible with the original formats. See EZFlyer disk, SyJet disk, SparQ disk, Quest disk and magnetic disk.

SyQuest Cartridges
SyQuest hard disks were the first de facto standard removable hard disks for personal computers.
