I'm sure for connoisseurs of lemon syllabubs it would have been fabulous, but have to admit I found the whole thing a little sickly after the first few mouthfuls.
Although nothing is better than a bowl of fresh raspberries and cream, they can be cooked in pastries, tarts, syllabubs and make the finest of fools.
Over the centuries,home grown cooks have invented,cooked and consumed vast quints of superb puddings,cakes,breads,confections,ice creams,fools and syllabubs.
