Five families of materials are commonly used today for lip seal elements: nitriles, polyacrylates, silicones, fluoroelastomers, and TFE fluorocarbon.
KaiserAir announced today that it is now an authorized line service center for Honeywell's TFE 731 series engines and Honeywell Re100/Re220 and 36 series Auxiliary Power Units (APUs).
The unit includes several features, including a self-contained high shear rotor stator mixer: a high speed disperser; a three-wing anchor with TFE scrapers to clean the side walls of the vessel; a 50 psi jacketed vessel to heat or cool; full vacuum and pressure operation to 150 psi: and a control panel with digital readout and control for variable speed operation of each agitator.
