The Taylor series corresponding to a function ƒ(x) at a pointx₀is the infinite series whosenth term is (1/n!)·ƒ⁽ⁿ⁾(x₀)(x-x₀)ⁿ, where ƒ⁽ⁿ⁾(x) denotes thenth derivative of ƒ(x).
