Location: Includes the entire state of Tennessee and features eight heritage corridors along river and railroad systems.
Special Features: A number of areas throughout Tennessee preserve and interpret the legacy of the Civil War there. Heritage resources are focused on important events, geographic factors, decisive battles, engagements, and the strategic maneuvers of the war, as well as the impact of the Civil War and Reconstruction on Tennessee's residents.
