Traditional Logic 

(also traditional formal logic), the general designation for the systems of deductive logic that do not involve the use of formal languages, or the apparatus of mathematical logic. The basis of traditional logic is syllogistic reasoning.

So, if buying low and selling high isn't rocket science why doesn't everyone see the short term logic in buying regularly for the medium term now?
