Terrassa

Terrassa (tĕr-räs`sə) or Tarrasa (tär-rä`sä), town (1990 pop. 161,682), Barcelona prov., NE Spain, in Catalonia. It is an industrial town, long famous for its woolen textiles. The town dates back to Roman days. It has a textile school and a textile museum.
