text editing

The ability to change text by adding, deleting and rearranging letters, words, sentences and paragraphs. Text editing is the main operation users perform in word processors, which typically also handle graphics and other multimedia files. See text editor and word processing.

Al-Aynati and Chorneyko concluded that speech recognition systems are inferior to conventional text editing when professional typists are available, but they offer an alternative in places where these services do not exist.
To resize text, for example, one would click on the appropriate label while in text editing mode, then press the numeric +" or " - " key to increase or decrease size.
The software also includes text editing tools for scaling, rotating and aligning fonts, as well as creating polygonal, concave, circular and outlined text.
