ThinkPad
A family of notebook computers from Lenovo. Originally made by IBM and introduced in 1992, Lenovo acquired the ThinkPad brand along with IBM's personal computer division in 2004. ThinkPads have been widely praised for their excellent keyboard quality and innovations. For example, ThinkPads have a built-in keyboard light, and they were the first to employ a pointing stick for cursor movement (see TrackPoint). The folding "Butterfly" keyboard, introduced in 1995 for its 701 series, won awards for its design (see TrackWrite).

The ThinkPad
The ThinkPad has been popular since its inception and has introduced innovative features, such as the TrackPoint pointing stick and TrackWrite "Butterfly" keyboard.
