H2S2O3An unstable acid that decomposes readily to form sulfur and sulfurous acid.

Thiosulfuric Acid 

(H2S2O3), an unstable dibasic acid that has not been obtained in the free state. It is a derivative of sulfuric acid in which one oxygen atom is replaced by a sulfur atom. The salts of thiosulfuric acid—thiosulfates—have found practical application.
