Tozzi, Federigo

    0.01 sec.
Tozzi, Federigo (fādārē`gō tôt`tsē), 1883–1920, Italian novelist. He was a follower of Verga and D'Annunzio but, unlike D'Annunzio, became concerned with moral problems. His novels, bitter and dispassionate, are powerfully written; outstanding are Tre croci (1920, tr. Three Crosses, 1921) and Il podere [the farm] (1921). His other works include short stories, plays, and verse.
