He also worked out the travel bug by visiting Italy, Greece and Egypt. I always toss in extra batteries for the GPS, a compass (for emergencies), water bottles, any travel bugs we're carrying, whistles for the kids to wear, a bell for Max (my dog), bug repellent, sunscreen, a Leatherman multitool ('cause you never know), and, of course, our trade items.
