A 26-month-old boy with Treacher Collins syndrome (mandibulofacial dysostosis) had a history of obstructive sleep apnea characterized by loud snoring and dysphasia. In the latter case, hearing loss can be caused by conditions such as osteogenesis imperfecta, branchio-oto-renal syndrome, orofaciodigital type II syndrome, and Treacher Collins syndrome. |
