Trimetra
A family of servers from Fujitsu Services (formerly ICL) that were the first products of its Millennium Programme, designed to compete in the 21st century. Trimetra supported the OpenVME, UnixWare and Windows NT environments and came in high-end SY servers, single node DL servers and the NOVA series based on CMP technology. Fujitsu's successors to the Trimetra architecture were the Nova and SuperNova series.

Under the new contract IBM has acquired an ICL Trimetra mainframe to replace the 10 year old VME.
And the latest Trimetra computer has 64 million times more memory and is at least 15 million times more powerful - yet is a third of the weight and one eighth of the size.
ICL will resell EMC Symmetrix enterprise storage solutions as the preferred platform with its Trimetra range of servers running VME, UNIX and Windows NT.
