Trudeau, Garry B.

    0.04 sec.
Trudeau, Garry B. (1948–  ) cartoonist; born in New York City. While an undergraduate at Yale University, he created a comic strip, "Bull Tales," which later became Doonesbury, a comic strip characterized by its wry humor and satiric presentation of contemporary events. The strip became nationally syndicated and in 1975 it won Trudeau a Pulitzer Prize. Doonesbury was occasionally so controversial that papers refused to run certain installments. Trudeau took a "vacation" (1982–84) and then returned to syndication in September 1984.
