TrueHD (1) A digital audio encoding system from Dolby Laboratories for Blu-ray discs that provides up to eight 24-bit channels of digital audio at 96 kHz. In order to send Dolby TrueHD signals from the player to the TV, the equipment must support HDMI 1.3 connections.
