Reference to the expansion of Japanese interests in the Pacific, under the League of Nations Mandate in 1919, is omitted entirely, thereby denying the 20 years (1920-1940) in which Japan built its bases in Truk and elsewhere.
The book is set in the Truk Islands of Micronesia: the pictures feature lush tropical colors with lots of turquoise splashed with orange and red; the islanders wear brightly patterned clothes and blissful expressions.
The unique Torqer Industrial Truk wheel system allows the entire unit to be moved around the shop with less than eight pounds of push for every 2000 lbs.
