Tsushima Strait

Tsushima Strait 

(also, Eastern Channel or Krusenstern Channel), the southeastern channel of the Korea Strait, between the islands of Tsushima on the west and Iki and Okino shima on the east. The narrowest point of the channel is 46 km, and its deepest point in navigable waters is 92 m. The constant warm Tsushima Current, flowing at about 1 km per hour, passes to the northeast through the Tsushima Strait from the East China Sea to the Sea of Japan.

the former name of the southeastern part of the Korea Strait, between the Tsushima Islands in the west and the islands of Iki and Oki-no-shima in the east.
