Tsvetnye Metally

 

(Nonferrous Metals), a monthly scientific and industrial journal published by the Ministry of Nonferrous Metallurgy of the USSR and the Central Board of the Scientific and Technical Society of Nonferrous Metallurgy. The journal was founded in Moscow in 1926. In addition to Soviet and foreign advances in nonferrous metallurgy, it covers new techniques and equipment and carries articles on problems of the economics and organization of production. Circulation, 7,000 (1977). Since 1960 an English translation of Tsvetnye metally has been published in the USA under the title Soviet Journal of Non-Ferrous Metals.
