(in Russian, raskatka). (1) An operation in pipe and tube rolling performed on rolling mills to increase the diameter of pipes and to equalize and reduce the wall thickness.

(2) An operation in pipe production performed on various types of special rolling mills in order to lengthen thin-wall tubing at the expense of a reduction in the cross section.
